Understand what your baby's body is doing, and why.
Something feels off, and nobody can tell you why. Fulkrum gives you the clinical reasoning behind the crying, the vomiting, the tension, the sleepless nights. The same reasoning Nicolas uses with babies in his practice, stage by stage, from birth onward.

THE APPROACH
What osteopathy sees.
Three pillars run through every developmental stage. Understand them, and most of what your baby is doing starts to make sense.
Balance.
Every baby is born with asymmetries. Most are small, most resolve, some don't. A baby who always turns the same way, who feeds better on one side, who sleeps with their head tilted, is a baby whose body has chosen a preference. Read early, the asymmetry is easy to address. Left alone, it shapes the way the baby moves for years. Balance is the first thing a pediatric osteopath looks for, because everything else (feeding, sleep, motor development, posture) builds on top of it.
Strength.
Strength in a baby builds slowly, every day, through the body itself. Tummy time, positioning, touch, the way you hold and move your baby: this is what makes lifting the head, pushing up, and rolling over possible when the time comes. Parents build the foundation long before the baby performs the milestone. The exercises we teach are the daily work that builds the body underneath. Milestones follow naturally when the foundation is there.
Connection.
A baby in a relaxed body connects more easily. With the breast. With sleep. With their parents. Tension blocks that connection in ways that look like a hundred different problems on the surface: reflux that won't settle, latching that never quite works, a baby who cannot be put down. Underneath, the same thing. Connection is what the work produces when balance and strength are in place.

BEHIND THE METHOD
Why I'm building this.
I qualified as a pediatric osteopath in the South of France in 2007 and opened my practice in Malaysia in 2011. We now run two clinics with eight osteopaths, and families travel to see us from across the region.
For years that work stayed inside the clinic. In 2013 I started sharing what I was seeing on social media, partly out of frustration. Too many parents were arriving exhausted and confused, having been told their baby's reflux was just colic, every feeding problem a tongue tie, every sleep struggle just personality. Almost always there was a clinical reason underneath that nobody had looked for. Almost always something the parents could have understood, and worked with, much earlier.
Six million parents now follow the work. Several hundred thousand new ones find us every month. What this confirmed is something I already felt in the clinic: parents are not looking for hacks. They want someone they can trust to explain what is actually happening, and give them something real to do with their hands.
That is what Fulkrum is. The clinical method, made available to families who will never make it to my practice.
Build something worth passing on.
Nineteen years of clinical practice, written for the parents who never made it to the clinic. Yours to use, daily, with your baby.
