FOUNDER

Nicolas Grimaldi.

Pediatric osteopath. Founder of Fulkrum. Founder of One Osteo.

Qualified 2007. Nineteen years of clinical work with babies, now structured for parents at home.

Most of what I know was learned in the treatment room, one family at a time. Fulkrum is how that work reaches the families who will never sit on my table.

BACKGROUND

Where I come from.

I trained at ATMAN, one of the oldest osteopathic colleges in France, in a six-year full-time program. I qualified in 2007. From the beginning I was drawn to the parts of the work that other people found difficult: babies, pregnant women, complex cases. The cases that don't fit neatly into a textbook.

In 2010 I moved to Malaysia. A year later I founded One Osteo. Today we run two clinics in Kuala Lumpur, with eight osteopaths on the team, and patients who travel to see us from across Southeast Asia and beyond.

Fulkrum came later, and for a different reason. The clinic could only ever reach the families who could physically come to us. Fulkrum is how the work reaches everyone else: structured, sequenced, and built so a parent can apply it at home without ever stepping into a treatment room.

SHARING THE WORK

How the work moved beyond the clinic.

For the first years of my career, the work stayed inside the clinic. Patients came in, we worked, they left, and the people who needed us were the people who could find us.

In 2013 I started posting on social media. It was a slow build for a long time. I would film what I was seeing, explain why a baby was doing what they were doing, show parents a simple thing they could try at home. What struck me was how many parents arrived at the clinic exhausted. Their baby's reflux dismissed as colic, every feeding issue blamed on a tongue tie, sleep struggles chalked up to personality. Almost always there was a clinical reason underneath, and almost always something the parents could have worked with much earlier.

In late 2024, with the clinic team running at full strength, I made the decision to commit seriously to the public work. I started filming, editing, posting and replying to messages myself, because I wanted the connection with parents to stay real. The community grew faster than I expected. Today around six million parents follow the work across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. Several hundred thousand new families find us each month.

When we released the ebook earlier this year, twelve thousand families read it in the first months. That confirmed what I already felt: parents are looking for someone they can trust, who will explain what is actually happening, and give them something real to do with their hands.
